After the breakfast, we will drive to see nearby Zangtog Pelri Lhakhang in the heart of the town and Kharbandi Gonpa before proceeding to Thimphu. The drive to Thimphu is very scenic, once we climb up from the Indian plain to Bhutan foot hills through beautiful forest, towns and roadside villages. Our drive will pass through Gedu, Chukha, and Chuzom before emerging ourselves into beautiful Valley of Paro. Check into the hotel, evening we will explore the city by walk. Overnight in Paro, 2200m
After the breakfast, we will drive to Ramthangka from where we will hike to Taktsang Monastery or often called Tiger Nest Temple which is built around a cave in which Guru Rimpoche (also known as Guru Padmasambhava) meditated. The eighth century old monastery is perched on a rock overlooking a sheer drop and clings seemingly impossible to a cliff of rock at 900m above the valley floor. For entire Buddhist around the world, it is place of pilgrimage but for a tourist, it is one of the must visit place before we die. The hike is almost 2 hours walk, uphill at 30 to 40 degree inclined for an average hiker however we might take full day depending on your pace. First of half of the hike which we pull-up, up to cafeteria feels never ending however from the half way due to magical structure right inform us, we are all energized to push further and you actually feel very near. Finally you are done and filled with joys of happiness to be at Taktshang. For the return journey, we actually feel like walking down very fast. After the lovely hike, you need to have relaxing massage at the hotel/enjoy dipping yourself into the hot stone bath (both available on extra cost). Overnight in Paro.
After the breakfast, we will prepare to drive to warm valley of Punakha over the most beautiful pass in the country called Dochula pass at 3150m. 108 Druk Wangyel Chortens built over the pass by queen mother in 2003 marks the pass more important and beautiful thus the pass is one the must visit passes in Bhutan. If the weather permits, we can enjoy a spectacular view of the highest mountains of Bhutan at a sight that stretches almost 180 degrees. After a photo break, we will continue our drive downhill from the pass. En-route we will take awesome walk through the rice field of Mesina to Chimi Lhakhang, Temple of fertility. Afternoon, we will visit the most beautiful Punakha Dzong, which houses the most elaborated temple in the country. The Dzong, showcase the finest example of the arts and crafts of Bhutan. Check out of the hotel and visit Chimi Lhakhang on foot, the temple of fertility associated with religious art of phallus. En route visit Wangdi town and continue to Phobjikha over the highest road pass on your trip at 3140m.Visit Gangtey Gompa, the largest and the only monastery of the Nyingmapa sect in western Bhutan.Evening relax in your hotel or take a stroll. Check out from the hotel, take a 2 hrs Phobjikha Natural Trail. The trail ends beside Gantey Monastery, further drive to Trongsa over the Pelela pass at 3300m which forms the part of the Black Mountains that divides the country into east and west. In the afternoon visit the watch tower which houses a museum now. A quick stop for photo opportunity at Chendipje and Kukhubji, evening relax in your hotel. Overnight at Trongsa.
After our leisurely breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and visit watch town recently converted into Trongsa Museum. En-route we will stop at weaving center, which is famous in the region. Evening we will explore the tiny Jakar town. Overnight in Amankora, Jakar. Altitude 2650m.
Visit Jampay Lakhang, the one of the first 2 Buddhist temples built in the country. This is the home of the naked dance that is still performed annually. Visit the Kurjey Temple, the site where Bhutan’s royals are cremated. One can either walk cross the suspension bridge and visit the village of Parar and Tamshing or drive there. End your day with a walk passing by the Swiss farm. Evening stroll in Jakar town and try some local pancakes and noodles. Overnight at Jakar

After breakfast transfer from Punakha to Thimphu. (The capital of Bhutan). Today we have a rest or do shoping. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

After breakfast in Paro, we start our journey back to Phuntsholing for an overnight stay. On arrival in Phuntsholing, we visit the popular tourist destinations of Zangtopelri Lhakhang and Karbandi Monastery. Return for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel
It is time to say goodbye until we meet again… After the morning breakfast, you will be taken for drop off at the Bagdogra Airport for your return journey home. With a mind full of memories and a phone full of selfies.
Indian Nationals travelling between Bhutan & India do not need Visa. An identity document, be it either passport or an election commission I. D card is, however required for presentation at the immigration during entry, to obtain an entry permit along with 04 passport size photographs. Indian Nationals travelling between Bhutan and Nepal require valid passport as per Nepalese immigration regulation.
It is required for those travelling to restricted areas beyond Dochula pass. The Route Permit is processed & issued in Thimphu, only after arrival in Bhutan and on production of the Entry Permit. Two copies of passport size photos required while processing Route Permit. Also this permit can be processed only during working days (Mon-Fri) and applications are accepted from 9-11 a.m. and permit granted on same day from 3-5 p.m in summer and 3-4 p.m. in winter.
